Services
You can configure the following management services:
NOTE:
You must reboot the Access Point if you change the HTTP Port or Telnet Port.

Security Settings
You may block the following management interfaces:
•
Block Telnet Services:
To prevent administrator Telnet access to the AP.
•
Block Web Access:
To prevent administrator HTTP (web) access to the AP.
NOTE:
Blocking Telnet Services or web access will terminate the current sessions.
NOTE:
Do not enable the blocking of all interfaces without setting up and enabling SNMP. Enabling the blocking of all
interfaces and disabling SNMP will completely block management access to the AP. For assistance, contact
Technical Support.
SNMP Settings
•
SNMP Interface Bitmask:
To allow management of the AP using SNMP, set this parameter to
Ethernet
(the
default setting). You can also select
Disabled
to prevent a user from managing the AP via SNMP.
•
SNMP Block Write Access:
To block SNMP SET operation, choose Enable from the drop down menu.
