options work in conjunction to determine who can connect to the Internet and

what credentials the AP uses to authenticate users.
The following table summarizes the available User Name and New Subscribers combinations:

When User Name is enabled, the AP displays a

field on its login screen. When New

Subscribers is enabled, the AP displays a

button. The following example shows the AP’s internal login

screen when both options are enabled.

Disabled Only allows existing subscribers (either in a RADIUS database or in the Authorized
