LOOP PLAY

Create a loop.
1 Press the play/pause (

) button to start playback.
2 During playback, press the IN/CUE/HOT LOOP button at the
point you wish to designate as the “loop-in” point.
This ste p is unnecessa r y in the event you have a pr eviously
r eco r ded cue p oint you wish to designate as a loo p -in p oint.
3 During playback, press the OUT/ADJUST button at the point
you wish to designate as the “loop-out” point.
Loo p p lay will begin and continue between the loo p -in and
loo p -out p oints.

To cancel loop play
During loop play, press the RELOOP/EXIT button.
Even afte r p layback r eaches the loo p -out p oint, p lay will
continue without r etu r ning to the loo p -in p oint.

To change the loop-out point
1 During loop play, press the OUT/ADJUST button.
The time of the out p oint will show on the dis p lay; the OUT/
ADJUST
button indicato r will flash r a p idly, and the
IN/CUE/
HOT LOOP
button indicato r will tu r n off.
2 Press one of the SEARCH (

,

) buttons or rotate the jog
dial.
• The loo p -out p oint will move in one-f r ame inc r ements.
• Eithe r pr ess the OUT/ADJUST button, o r wait fo r 30 seconds
without doing anything and the adjust mode will be
canceled and loo
p p lay will r etu r n.
 During loop play, to return to the loop-in point and
begin loop play again (hot loop)
During loop play, press the IN/CUE/HOT LOOP button.
Playback will r etu r n to the loo p -in p oint and loo p p lay will begin
again.
 To return again to a loop
During playback after canceling loop play, press the
RELOOP/EXIT button.
Playback will r etu r n to the pr eviously set loo p -in p oint and loo p
p lay will begin again f r om that p oint ( r eloo p p lay).

To store loop play information
Du r ing loo p p lay, pr ess the
CUE/LOOP MEMORY
button, and
the cu rr ent loo p info r mation will be sto r ed in memo r y.
CUE POINT/LOOP POINT MEMORY
This unit can sto r e cue p oints and loo p p oints fo r futu r e use. When
the t r acks a r e on discs, the cue/loo p p oints a r e sto r ed in the unit’s
inte r nal memo r y; when the t r acks a r e on exte r nal USB sto r age
devices, the cue/loo p p oints a r e sto r ed in the exte r nal sto r age
device itself.
One cue
p oint o r loo p p oint can be sto r ed fo r each t r ack.

Storing a cue point
1 Use the auto cue function or CUE button to input a cue point.
2 Press the CUE/LOOP MEMORY button.
The [ MEMO ] indicato r will light, indicating that the cue p oint
has been sto r ed.

Storing a loop
1 Input a loop-in and loop-out point, and begin loop play.
2 During loop play, press the CUE/LOOP MEMORY button.
The [
MEMO
] indicato r will light, indicating that the loo p -in and
loo p -out p oints have been sto r ed.
In the case of t r acks fo r which cue o r loo p p oints a r e r eco r ded,
the [ ] icon will change to [ ] on the BROWSE sc r een.

To call up a stored cue point or loop
When a cue p oint o r loo p has been sto r ed, the [
MEMO
]
indicato r will light.
1 Press the CUE/LOOP CALL button.
When the CUE/LOOP CALL button is pr essed, the cue p oint o r
loo p is called f r om memo r y, and the unit ente r s the standby
mode at the cue o r loo p -in p oint.
2 Press the play/pause (

) button.
Play o r loo p p lay begins.
MEMO
• This unit’s inte r nal memo r y is ca p able of sto r ing a maximum of
2 000 discs’ wo r th of cue/loo p p oints (when each disc has no
mo r e than 10 cue/loo p p oints each). When the inte r nal
memo r y becomes full, pr eviously sto r ed disc info r mation is
ove r w r itten, beginning f r om disc info r mation with the lowest
usage f r equency.
• If the exte r nal USB sto r age device has insufficient sto r age
ca p acity, the cue/loo p p oint info r mation fo r the t r acks on that
device cannot be saved.
• T r acks in DJS and othe r DJ softwa r e cannot be sto r ed in
memo r y.
NOTE
• If a cue p oint diffe r s f r om the loaded t r ack, it cannot be
sto r ed.
• If the exte r nal USB sto r age device has insufficient sto r age
ca p acity, the cue/loo p p oint info r mation fo r the t r acks on
that device cannot be saved.
