To configure the local user ID, type the ID into the
Local User ID
text box, then click the

Remote User Id (remoteUserID)
10-byte user supplied string that defines the remotely connected modem. The string is stored in non-volatile
Flash within the NetLink modem.
Note
The remote user ID is only used with Patton xDSL rack cards.
