USO DELL’APPARECCHIO USING THE EQUIPMENT 4
4.1 MESSA IN FUNZIONE
Alimentare l’apparecchio secondo le modalità riportate al par. 2.2 e
accendere l’apparecchio; la spia POWER [ 12 ], si illuminerà. Selezionare,
se utilizzate, le zone di ascolto tramite gli appositi interruttori [ 4 ].
Selezionare tramite il selettore LINE SELECT [ 7 ] il tipo di sorgente
musicale desiderata. Dosare opportunamente i vari controlli di livello [ 6 ]
e [ 8 ] delle sorgenti sonore utilizzate e correggere, se necessario, la
timbrica agendo sui controlli di tono BASS e TREBLE [ 9 ]. Nei paragrafi
successivi sono riportate le istruzioni dettagliate per il funzionamento
del lettore CD [ 3 ] e del sintonizzatore AM/FM [ 2 ].
4.1 START-UP
Power up the equipment as indicated under point 2.2 and switch it on.
The POWER [ 12 ] will light up. If used, select the listening zones by
means of the switches provided for this purpose [ 4 ].
Use the LINE SELECT selector switch [ 7 ] to choose the required type of
music source. Adjust the various level controls [ 6 ] and [ 8 ] of the sources
of sound used in a suitable manner and if necessary correct the tone-
colour by means of the BASS and TREBLE tone controls [ 9 ]. Detailed
instructions are provided below for operation of the CD player [ 3 ] and of
the AM/FM tuner [ 2 ].
4.2 USO DEL LETTORE CD/MP3
Messo in funzione l’apparecchio, portare il controllo LINE SELECT [ 7 ] in
posizione CD/TAPE e proseguire come indicato:
1) Il lettore si attiverà ed il display si illuminerà indicando la presenza/
mancanza di compact disc all'interno.
2) Se mancante, inserire il compact disc nell'apposita fenditura: il lettore
si avvierà automaticamente facendo partire la prima traccia audio.
Nel caso si utilizzi un cd con file *.mp3, il lettore effettuerà la scansione
del disco e visualizzerà il numero di tracce contenute in ciascuna cartella
e successivamente il numero totale di file presenti sul supporto (vedi
figura 4.2.2).
NOTA :
Per interrompere la riproduzione del CD, e procedere alle possibili
impostazioni di programmazione, premere una sola volta il tasto
EJECT/STOP .
Si rammenti che una ulteriore pressione di questo tasto (a lettore fermo)
provocherà l'espulsione del disco. In condizione di lettore fermo, il
display visualizzerà il numero totale di tracce e la durata complessiva
del disco.

NOTE :
To stop playing the CD and proceed with the possible programming
settings, press the EJECT/STOP key once.
It must be remembered that if this key is pressed again (after the player
has stopped), this will cause the disc to be ejected. With the drive at a
standstill, the display will show the total number of racks and the total
time required to play the disc.
4.2 USING THE CD/MP3 PLAYER
Having started up the equipment, position the LINE SELECT control [ 7 ]
on CD/TAPE and continue as indicated below:
1) The player will activate and the display will light up, indicating whether
there is already a compact disc in the player or not.
2) If there is not, insert a compact disc into the slit provided for this
purpose. The player will start to run automatically, playing the first
audio track.
If a CD with an *.mp3 file is used, the drive will scan the disc and display
the number of tracks contained in each folder, and then the total number
of files on the CD (see figure 4.2.2).
