to select [LightID].

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[OFF]
Disables the Light ID function. The Light ID signal is not transmitted.
[EXTERNAL CONTROL]
Transmits the Light ID signal set by the user.
Select this item when the Light ID signal transmitted by the projector is switched using the contents
list distribution function or the Light ID control function of the “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”.
To set the Light ID, it is necessary to purchase the Light ID. To purchase the Light ID, visit the
Panasonic website (https://panasonic.net/cns/LinkRay/).
The Light ID which the user has set is erased in following cases.

When the <MAIN POWER> switched is set to <OFF>
[INTERNAL ID]
Transmits the internal Light ID signal.
The Light ID signal is linked to the Panasonic website (https://panasonic.net/cns/projector/) in the
factory default setting or after the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

[INITIALIZE] is executed.
When the Light ID is set while [LightID] is set to [INTERNAL ID], the Light ID signal set by the user is
transmitted.

When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu
→
[ECO MANAGEMENT]
→
[LIGHT POWER] is set to anything other than [NORMAL], the
[LightID] setting is disabled and fixed to [OFF].

The light output is decreased when [LightID] is set to anything other than [OFF].
When clogging of the filter is detected and the brightness of the light source is restricted, [LightID] will be fixed to [OFF].

Following setting will be disabled and it will be fixed to [OFF] when [LightID] is set to anything other than [OFF].

To set the Light ID signal, use “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”. The software can be downloaded from the Panasonic website (https://
panasonic.net/cns/projector/).

The internal Light ID signal can be rewritten by executing the control command using the “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”. For details
of executing the control command, refer to the Operating Instructions of “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”.

When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

[INITIALIZE]
→
[ALL USER DATA] is executed, the [LightID] setting is reset to the factory default.

For details of the contents list distribution function and Light ID control function of “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”, refer to the
Operating Instructions of “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”.

The projected image may flicker when the Light ID signal is transmitted, but this is caused luminance change during the transmission of the
Light ID, and it is not a malfunction.

When clogging of the filter is detected and the brightness of the light source is restricted, the filter indicator <FILTER> lights up and [LightID]
is set to [OFF], and the Light ID signal will not be transmitted. Set it again after cleaning the clogged filter.
For details on how to solve the filter clogging, refer to
“When an indicator lights up” (

page 198).
[INITIAL STARTUP]
Set the startup method when the <MAIN POWER> switch is set to <ON>.

to select [INITIAL STARTUP].

to switch the item.

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[LAST MEMORY]
Starts up the projector in the condition before the <MAIN POWER> switch is set to <OFF>.
[STANDBY]
Starts up the projector in standby.
[ON]
Starts projecting immediately.
[STARTUP INPUT SELECT]
Set the input when the projector is switched on to start projection.
1) Press

to select [STARTUP INPUT SELECT].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.

The
[STARTUP INPUT SELECT]
screen is displayed.
3) Press
asqw
to select the input, and press the <ENTER> button.
[LAST USED]
Keeps the input selected last.
[RGB1]
Sets the input to RGB1.
[RGB2]
Sets the input to RGB2.
[VIDEO]
Sets the input to VIDEO.
