Items Settings
Distance
Set the units for distances and scales displayed on the screen or used in
voice guidance.
default: [miles]
 [km] ...... Sets kilometer for distance displays.
 [miles] ... Sets mile for distance displays.
Estimated travel time
Changes the average vehicle speed that is the
basis for estimated arrival time. Settings can
be made for urban road, country road and
highway road types.
default: Urban road:
25 mph (40 km/h)
Country road: 35 mph (55 km/h)
Highway: 55 mph (90 km/h)
Select [Change speed].

Adjustment range <5 mph (5 km/h) steps>
Urban road: 5 mph – 25 mph (5 km/h – 40 km/h)
Country road: 5 mph – 35 mph – 55 mph (5 km/h – 55 km/h – 90 km/h)
Highway: 5 mph – 55 mph – 75 mph (5 km/h – 90 km/h – 120 km/h)

Select [Default] to return settings to the defaults.

Keyboard layout
Changes the key layout for text input.
default:
[ABC]

[ABC] .... Sets alphabetical order for the key layout.

[QWE] ... Sets QWERTY for the key layout.

[AZE] ..... Sets AZERTY for the key layout.
Time zone
Sets the Time zone and Daylight Saving Time
to use.

Select [Change].  [PST] ..... Pacifi c Standard Time

 [HST] .... Hawaii Standard Time

3D landmark
Sets to display/not display 3D landmarks. (

Sets to display/not display the clock on the navigation screen.

Voice guidance in SRC mode
Sets whether or not to use voice guidance output for navigation when
displaying and listening to an Audiovisual screen (radio, DVD, CD, etc.).
default:
[On]
 [On] ....... Provides voice guidance while an Audiovisual screen is displayed.
 [Off] ...... Does not provide voice guidance while an Audiovisual screen is displayed.
Auto voice guidance
Sets whether or not to automatically give voice guidance during route
guidance, such as when approaching an intersection.
default:
[On]
 [On] ....... Provides voice guidance at intersections.
 [Off] ...... Does not provide voice guidance at intersections.
