Perform the procedure below.
<Service Manu Setting>
SERVO ADJUST ----- A01: FG DC ADJ
1. Open the service menu and select the above.
2. The VTR performs the following operation, when
continuously pressing the “MODE” button on the
Front Panel.
1) Brake Solenoid ON (Brake OFF)
2) Capstan Motor Rotates
3) Reel Motors Rotate
After 5-10 seconds,
4) Brake Solenoid OFF (Brake ON)
5) FG DC Adjustment
3. When the FG DC adjustment is completed, it
shows “A01: FG DC ADJ” “OK”.
<Note>
This adjustment is needed after replacing of
Mechanical Chassis, Servo Board or VOUT/SYS
Board.

Perform the procedures below.
<Service Manu Setting>
SERVO ADJUST ----- A02: RL GAIN ADJ
1. Open the service menu and select the above.
2. The VTR perfumes the following operation, when
continuously pressing the “SEARCH” button on
the Front Panel.
1) T Reel Rotates
2) S Reel Rotates
3. After 5-6 seconds, the adjustment value on the
monitor will be disappeared and then updated.
4. Repeat the steps 2 and 3 again.
<Note> This adjustment should be performed before
“3-3. Reel Torque Offset Adjustment”.

SERVO ADJUST ----- A03: T TORQUE
SERVO ADJUST ----- A04: S TORQUE
1. Open the service menu and select the above.
2. Set the Dial Torque Gauge with Torque Gauge
Adaptor on the T reel table.
3. Press the “MODE” button on the Front Panel.
4. Adjust the T Reel Torque by pressing the <+> and
<-> buttons on the Front Panel so that the
average of 5 times measurement is in the
specification.
5. Press the “SET” switch on the Front Panel.
6. Perform the same steps for the S Reel Table.

1. Open the service menu and select the above.
2. Play back the HDLP Alignment Tape.
3. Continuously press the “MODE” switch on the
Front Panel so that the previous data disappears
and new data come up.
