1. Turn off the VTR main power.
2. Temporally lift up the RF_EQ Board and set the
jumper switches SW201 and SW202 to the CW
Generate Mode (connecting Pin 1 and 2) as
shown in figure 1-35-1.

3. Reinstall the RF_EQ Board to the original slot and
turn on the main power.
4. Record the internal CW signal for a few seconds.
5. Open the service menu and select “TRACKING
MODE”: CTL and play back the portion just
recorded.
6. Adjust “TRACKING VAL” so that the envelope
level becomes maximum.
7. Confirm that the envelope output is in the
specification.

8. Perform the same confirmation for each heads as
shown the table below.
