A.2 Memory  upgrade 

Your PaceBook’s memory can be 
easily expanded up to a maximum 

of 1GB. 

To install memory expansion 

modules, follow these steps: 

1.  Power off the PaceBook and 

disconnect the AC power 

cord, also remove the battery 

(see Chapter 6 for how to do 
this). 

2.  Disconnect all peripheral devices. 

3.  Turn the PaceBook around and locate the memory slot (see picture above). 

4.  Remove the two screws and open the cover. 

5.  If there is a memory module already installed, remove it and replace with the new one. 

6.  Make sure that the memory card is firmly installed, then replace the cover and the 

screws.
