Operating Instruction for Swimming Pool Heat Pumps Heatermax 15 / 20 / 30 / 50
1
Operation of the Heat Pump
1. Compressor Operating Sequences
There should be 3 minutes delay to restart compressor, after Compressor stops operating
(such as manual power off, constant temperature Shutdown).
2. Water Pump Operating Sequence
• The compressor of heat pump should be started 1 minute after the pool pump is running.
• The pool pump should be switched off 1 minute after the heat pump is switched off.
3. Fan Motor Operating Sequence
• When the heat pump is switched in, the fan starts running 30 seconds before the compressor starts to work.
• When the heat pump is switched off, the fan stops running 30 seconds after the compressor has stopped.
Initial startup of the Pool Heat Pump
Note: Please make sure the pool pump is running in circulation with an adequate rate of water flow.
1. Checks to be performed before starting the appliance
• The hydraulic connections must be tight,
• The unit must be in a stable as well as level and upright position,
• The power supply cable must not be exposed to sharp or hot elements
2. Additional checks to be performed b
y
a qualified technician:
• The correct working condition of all safety components must be checked,
• The ground earth of all metal elements must be checked,
• The connection and tightening of the electric power cable must be checked
Note: Incorrectl
y
tightened terminals ma
y
cause overheating of the electrical terminal rail, and will void the guarantee.
3. Start the Pool Heat Pump
Turn on your filter pump, check water leaks and verify flow of swimming pool.
As shown on the below picture: when the switch is in the „OFF“ position initially, screw it to „ON“ position, the pool heat pump will start.
4. Set the Water Temperature
As shown on the below picture, you can set a desired pool water temperature in the range from 0°C to 40°C, by screwing temperature adjustment knob.
• Screw clockwise = decrease the temperature setting
• Screw anticlockwise = increase the temperature setting
5. Stop the Pool Heat Pump
As shown on the below picture: when the switch is in the „ON“ position initially, screwing it to „OFF“ position, the pool heat pump will stop.

NING!
According to the harmonized European Directives and Safet
y
Standards, the installation of the mains voltage cable must be carried out b
y
an approved and qualified electrician.
• The power supply must correspond to the product specifications. Do not connect the pool heat pump, if the power supply does not conform to the specified regulations!
• In principle, a mains voltage power cable H07RN-F 3 x 2.5 mm2 should be used to connect the pool heat pump to the power supply.
• The power supply of the pump must be via a fault current protective switch (RCD-switch) with a rated fault current of
<
30mA (pumps of class 1).
• If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• For the installation of the mains voltage cable, see 9. Electrical Wiring diagram
