To enable LCX Mode, go to the Advanced Settings screen and tap the Analysis button. Under Analysis
Settings , tap the LCX mode checkbox (Figure 55) to mark it. The LCX status indicator ( ) will be
displayed at the top of the screen.

To return the Detective X to the standard high-confidence analysis mode, tap to unmark the LCX
mode checkbox. The LCX status indicator will disappear.

4.6.5.1 Customizing LCX Mode
In addition to providing suspect alarms for threat nuclides, LCX Mode adds additional suspect alarms based
on unqualified peaks in the energy spectrum associated with threat materials. These alarms can be used to
