R ate C ontrol: The method used to control the network bandwidth used.
C apped C onstant B itrate
The network bandwidth should not go above the B it R ate value.
Average Constant B itrate
The network bandwidth may go above the B it R ate value but the
overall average will be less than the bit rate.
R ate C ontrol Off
No network bandwidth control is used. When this option is selected
a Quality value may be selected instead of a B it R ate.
G OP Length: This
is an advanced feature and sets the number of frames in a Group of Pictures (GOP). This is the
number of frames between Intra frames or Key frames in the video stream. A small value means more frequent Key
frames which may be required if the output is being recorded. Key frames use more bits to encode so more
frequent Key frames will increase the bit rate and hence storage required to store the video. A value of 0 means this
value is set automatically by the camera.
