The camera is configured for DHC P by default and can be detected by the C amera C onfiguration Tool. If DHC P
fails, the camera is configured with the configured static IP address. The default port for connecting to the web
server is port 80. If the port number is changed, it will be applied regardless of whether a DHC P or S tatic IP address
is being used.
Use the C amera C onfiguration Tool to locate the camera. If the camera did not receive a DHC P IP address and is
not on a reachable subnet, then you must assign a static IP address using the C amera C onfiguration Tool. In the
C amera C onfiguration Tool, the camera will be listed showing the C amera Name as entered in this screen.
An NTP S erver can optionally be used to provide accurate time services to the camera. If you are using a Network
Time Protocol server, enter the DNS name or IP address of the NTP S erver here.
! You must click Apply IP Settings in order to save any changes.
! You may lose your connection to the Web interface if the IP address changes to another subnet!
