Setting Reading Conditions
The Shutter speed selections will be displayed.

Filtering
The image read by the Camera can be manipulated to create an image that is easier to read by
using the 5 filtering methods.
Select from the five methods:
Weak smoothing , Strong smoothing , Dilate , Erosion , Median .
When a selection is made with the cursor, the image after the processing is displayed on the
monitor. Select the appropriate filtering while viewing the image.
The asterisk (*) indicates the default setting.

Smoothing* Reading objects with slight surface
irregularity Reduces the irregularity through
smoothing. (Select either weak or
strong smoothing.)
Dilate The dots (white cells) of the code are
too small. Has the effect of increasing the size of
the dots when the cells are white and
the background is black.
Erosion The dots (black cells) of the code are
too small. Has the effect of increasing the size of
the dots when the cells are black and
the background is white.
Median Reading objects with slight surface
irregularity Lessens dispersion in the image while
maintaining its contours.
