Communication with the Host
Multi Drop Settings
Set whether the multi drop function is to be used or not, and the unit numbers assigned to the
controllers.
The unit number is attached to the prefix of all communication data, so set a different unit number
for each V530-R160. A V530-R160 will not respond to a command with a unit number other than
the one assigned to it.

Multi-drop connections are used. When “ON” is set, even if reading pro-
cessing is executed the results will not be output to the serial interface
automatically.
The results will be output when a Send Data instruction (Polling Command)
is sent from the host.
Unit number
Set the unit numbers of the controllers. (1 to 31; default setting: 1)
