Section

Connecting to the MC Unit

1, 2, 3...

1. Remove the connector cover.

Cover

Open the cover using a
small-size flat-blade
screwdriver.

Attach the removed cover to the
rear surface so as not to lose it.

Cover attached

2. Plug the connecting cable’s connector into the Teaching Box’s connector.

Align the connector and push it in until
you hear a click.

3. Insert the connecting cable’s connector into the MC Unit’s peripheral con-

nector. For the CS1W-MC221/421 and CV500-MC221/421, “T.B” is written
on the connector and for the C200H-MC221, “TOOL” is written on the con-
nector. The location of the peripheral connector on each of the MC Units is
shown below.

For the C200H-MC221, connect the connector and then set the tool selec-
tion switch to “T.B.”
