SOSTITUZIONE DELLE CINGHIE
REPLACING THE BELT
Tutte le operazioni descritte in questo capitolo valgono
per entrambe le teste:
A lato della lama è posizionato il carter copricinghie. Per
effettuare la sostituzione delle cinghie seguire la procedure
qui descritta:
- Con una chiave fi ssa CH 13 (

) (non in dotazione) svitare
e asportare le due viti (

), e rimuovere il carter. Fig. 1.
- Per sostituire la cinghia agevolmente è necessario
allentarne la sua tensione. Con chiave Allen 8 mm (

)
allentare la vite (

) tramite
chiave Allen 8 mm Fig. 3. In questo modo il motore (

)
è libero di ruotare facendo perno sulla vite (
4
) e quindi
di diminuire la tensitura della cinghia. Particolare at-
tenzione deve essere prestata alla tensitura, in quanto
se scarsa si ha slittamento tra cinghia e pulegge. Se è
eccessiva si ha un logoramento precoce della cinghia.
Procedere alla sostituzione delle cinghie e ripetere al
contrario tutte le operazioni precedentemente descritte
riboccando a fondo tutte le viti precedentemente allentate.
All operations described in this chapter apply to both
heads.
The belt guard is located beside the blade. To replace the
belt, carry out the following sequence of operations:
- Using a size 13 wrench (

) (not supplied), loosen and
remove the two screws (

) to remove the guard. Fig. 1.
- To replace the belt with ease, it needs to be slackened.
Using an 8 mm Allen wrench (

) loosen the screw (

) is free to
run by hinging onto the screw (
4
) so the belt is thus
slackened. Particular attention must be paid towards
belt tightening. If the belt is too slack, the belt may slip
off the pulley. If it is too tight, the belt may wear earlier.
Replace the belt and repeat all the above operations in
reverse order. Remember to tighten down all the screws
that were previously loosened.
