Scale display orientation setting
Factory setup: (Horizontal)
}This item sets whether a color picture or monochrome picture
is displayed.
The monochrome option is applied to the recorded pictures
as well as to the live images.

Setting the Scale Display
Factory setup: OFF
}The scale of the specimen image according to the
photographing magnification can be displayed only in the
live image or also in the recorded pictures. This setting is also
used in the measurements.
· Necessary scales can be stored under scale names from
“ON1” to “ON7”.
· The memory of “ON1” to “ON7” can store the scale display
position, photographing magnification, registered data
number, etc.
When SETUP is selected and the SET/OK button is pressed,
the menu showing the following items will be displayed.
}When the menu is set to be hidden, any of “ON1” to “ON7”
and “OFF” can be selected by pressing the SET/OK + MENU
buttons or SET/OK + MODE buttons.

Photographing magnification input/setting
Factory setup: ON1/0000.01
}This item is used to input the photographing magnification data,
which is required when displaying the scale. A magnification
value between 0000.01 and 9999.99 can be input.

· Objective (10X) x TV adapter magnification (0.5X) = 5X.
When the U-CA intermediate attachment with 1.25X is added
to the above, the total magnification will be 6.25X.
· For the magnification of a TV adapter, refer to the respective
instruction manual.

}If it is required to input the accurate magnification value, use
an accurate scale (such as an objective micrometer disk with
scales dividing 1 mm into 100) and input the magnification
so that the displayed scale coincides with the accurate scale.
