Cleaning
For faultless function of the appliance, regular clean-
ing of the combustion chamber, particularly of the com-
bustion pan and of the ash box, is strictly required (see
Fig.7a).
The ash box should be max. 3/4 full.
A daily visual inspection of the combustion pan for slag
must be executed.
●
Each cleaning must always be executed when
the appliance is cold.
●
Do not clean the appliance with water. Penetrating
water could bridge contacts and cause a short circuit
or electric shock.
●
Only use suitable ash vacuums.
●
The combustion pan is in the combustion chamber.
Open the combustion chamber door for cleaning.
The locking mechanism of the combustion chamber
door is behind the inspection door. Take out the com-
bustion pan and scrape out the residues.
●
To clean the combustion chamber, take out the com-
bustion pan and remove the combustion cham-
ber refractory elements. To do this, first lift the right
half, at the bottom pull forward toward the combus-
tion chamber door and take it out of the appliance.
Ensure that the sensor pocket of the flame tempera
-
ture sensor does not hinder the removal. Then take
the left half out of the appliance.
● To clean the waste gas flues, rotate several times
the cleaning sliders on the left and right through the
cover hood using a hex wrench SW5. The ash accu-
mulates due to these movements right and left un-
derneath the ash box compartment.
●
The ash box is behind the inspection door. For clean-
ing, release the locking mechanism of the ash box
and pull the ash box forward and out. Also clean the
area below the ash box compartment (see Fig.7b).
●
Check the connecting piece at regular intervals for
any deposits of soot and ash, and clean.
●
Clean the glass pane with special glass cleaner or
kitchen oven spray. Do not use any abrasive clean-
ing agents.
●
Because the painted surfaces are very sensitive, we
recommend cleaning with a slightly damp microfibre
cloth as needed.
