Water Installation
Important
●
The respective locally-applicable regulations and
rules must be observed.
●
The installation of water connections and all electri-
cal work must be completed by certified specialists.
●
We recommend using the “Olsberg -Installation unit”
for connecting to the heating and/or industrial wa-
ter system.
Please follow the separate assembly and operation
instruction for this component.
●
In addition to the requisite safety components, a re-
turn flow booster valve must be installed, which in
-
creases the return flow temperature to at least
55°C (the “Olsberg-Installation unit” includes such a
valve).
●
The stove must never be operated without water.
●
An outlet valve must be installed in the lower section
of the water circulation system.
●
To keep the stove in fully operational condition, it
is essential that the heating system be cleaned by
flushing as specified in DIN EN 14336 (Heating sys
-
tems in buildings - Installation and commissioning
of water-based heating systems) before the stove is
connected hydraulically.
Olsberg cannot process any warranty claims unless
provided with proof that the necessary cleaning has
been carried out.
● The efficient and trouble-free operation of the
Levana Aqua requires the incorporation of a buff-
er tank into the heating system. The recommended
storage capacity is approx. 60 litres per kW of heat
power (approx. 500 litres).
● To allow the appliance to operate with utmost effi
-
ciency, we strongly recommend that you connect
both included buffer sensors (above and below).
