Commissioning and operation
Permissible fuel
● The pellet stove must only be fired with pellets that
correspond to DIN EN 14961-2 and the DIN-plus
certification program or Ö-Norm M 7135:
- max. D = 6 mm
- max. L = 30 mm
- max. moisture = 10%
●
The pellets must be stored dry and dust-free.
Attention: No fuels other than the fuel cited above
should get into the combustion pan. Combustion
of waste or similar material can result in damage
to the appliance and invalidation of the guarantee!
Filling pellets
●
The sack of pellets must not be placed on the cov-
er hood, otherwise the painted surface will be dam-
aged.
● When filling pellets, ensure that any saw dust that
may be present is not also filled into the pellet tank.
● When filling pellets, ensure that the packaging does
not come into contact with hot surfaces. Packaging
residues can be burned into the paint surface.
Tip: Top up pellets when the appliance is cold.
●
Prior to each start, subject the combustion pan to a
visual inspection and clean it if necessary. Ensure
that pellets are not manually placed in the combus-
tion pan.
General operating conditions
Two independent drives ensure operation of the pel-
let stove. The induced draught fan supplies the com-
bustion chamber with sufficient combustion air and the
pellet auger conveys the pellets into the combustion
chamber.
Depending on operating status, chimney conditions
and pellet quality, these two drives must work more or
less intensively to achieve the desired result. This can
result in different noise emissions that are temporarily
louder than usual. This is not a malfunction, rather it is
due to the variable ambient conditions.
Instructions that must be complied with
prior to first heating
●
Remove all accessories from the ash box and the
combustion chamber:
The ash box is behind the inspection door. Release
the locking mechanism of the ash box and pull the
ash box forward and out.
The locking mechanism of the combustion chamber
door is below the combustion chamber door.
●
Remove the protective foil from the touch control
panel.
●
The odour that occurs due to vaporisation of the pro-
tective paint finish disappears when the stove has
burned for several hours (ensure that the room is
well ventilated).
●
The stove is coated with a high-quality temperature-
resistant paint that reaches its final strength only af
-
ter first heat up. Consequently, do not place anything
on the stove and do not touch the surfaces, other-
wise the paint finish could be damaged.
●
The stove must only be operated with the combus-
tion chamber door closed.
● Do not remove hot ashes. Only store ashes in fire-
safe, non-flammable containers.
●
Convection air openings must not be covered.
●
The precautions for the combustion air supply must
not be changed. In particular, it must be ensured that
necessary combustion air lines are open during op-
eration of the heating appliance.
●
Do not make any changes to the stove.
