CX3641 Advanced Technical User Guide

Overview of the Scan Function

To scan a document, follow these steps:

Press the

SCAN

button on the Operator’s Panel to display the main

screen.

Select the

by touching one of the tabs. See Table 4-1,

“Overview of the SCAN Functions,” on page 57 for more

information.

Fill in the details for the destination of the file. See the individual

description of each function in “Using the SCAN Functions” on

page 58.

Touch the

Attachments

tab to define your attachment properties.

See “Scanned Attachments: Fine-tuning your Digital File” on

page 66 for more information.

Load your document into the scanner.

Press

START

on the Operator’s Panel.
