The unit will not
hold pressure
There is a leak at one of the
fittings
The cell o-rings are worn or
not seated properly
Trace the tubing and
tighten the leaking
connection
Disassemble the cell and
inspect all o-rings. Discard
any that show signs of
damage or wear
The unit will not
build pressure
There is a leak at one of the
fittings
The pump is broken (not
cycling, constantly cycling)
The rupture disk is blown
If there are no visible
leaks, then there may be
an internal leak caused by
clogged tubing or a faulty air
pressure valve.
Tighten the leaking
connection
Replace the pump
Replace the rupture disk
and replace if needed.
If the tubing is clogged
or the air pressure valve
has failed, contact OFITE
Technical Support.
Thermocouple
Thermocouple
will not fit into
the cell cap
The port is filled with cement
The thermocouple is bent
The hub collar is too low on
the thermocouple shaft
Clear the cement blockage
Replace the thermocouple
Screw the collar up until
there are 2 threads showing
