Specifying the Communication Port

On the FOMA PC Configuration Software
screen, click “ メニュー (Menu)”

“ 通信
設定 (Communication settings )”
• “ 自動設定（推奨） (Auto settings (recommended))”
: The connected FOMA terminal is selected
automatically. Usually, select “ 自動設定 (Auto
settings)”.
• “ COMポート指定 (Specify COM port)”
: Specify the COM port number (COM1-COM99) your
FOMA terminal is connected to, when you want to
specify the COM port number. For “Verifying the
COM port number”, see P56.

Setting Packet Communication from
Easy Settings
The packet communication is charged by the
amount of data you sent and received. You can
send/receive data at speeds up to 3.6Mbps for
downloading and up to 384Kbps for uploading.
