Data Communication Diagnostic
(Mobile Performance Checker)
The Mobil Performance Checker is software that
connecting the PC installed Windows 2000/XP to
a device which is available data communication
of DoCoMo, and check whether a mobile data
communication is normal or not. By simple
operation, connect to the mobile data test point
and perform a communication test
automatically.
•
This diagnostics is free (charge apply from overseas).
Checking the Operating Environments
•
Depending on the operating environment, the software
may not work, DoCoMo does not respond to any
inquiries about the use, guarantee proper operation, nor
is responsible for proper operation under operating
environments other than the above.
•
Furthermore, DoCoMo does not guarantee the
operation under the supported OS if the OS is changed
through upgrade.
Installing
Mobile Performance Checker Downloading Site

After downloading, double-click
“MPC_Vxx.EXE” icon.

“MPC.EXE”, “mpcmaster.inf”,
“mobilecard.inf” and “os.inf” are created in
the folder you specified to be decompressed
them.

Perform “MPC.EXE”
•
This software executes by itself. Any setting does are not
changed to Windows system.

Delete “MPC.EXE”, “mpcmaster.inf”, and “os.inf” to
uninstall this software.
Connections are
frequently
terminated
Traffic may be heavy at the access
point. Try again later.
If you are in a weak signal reception
area, move to a location where the
Antenna Indication Lamp lights green.

“ERROR”
appears when a
command is
entered
Verify that you entered a correct
command.
Check the properties of the terminal
software to see whether a device other
than the FOMA terminal is selected.
“OK” does not
appear after an
AT command is
entered

(Drivers) have been installed properly.

Verify that the commands start with
“AT” or “at” and that upper and lower
case characters are not mixed.
An AT command
cannot be
entered
When the DoCoMo Video Call
Software is running or is in the Task
Tray, exit the DoCoMo Video Call
Software.
Symptom

Redial is not
possible
If the other party does not answer a call
and you terminate the call from your
FOMA terminal you cannot
immediately call the same party. Wait
for about one minute before calling
again.
