Import data from an LDIF, delimited text file, schema file, or LOAD file.

Export data to an LDIF file.

Migrate data between servers.

Add data from an LDIF or schema file to a server

Add data from one server to another server.

•

Compare data between an LDIF or schema file and another LDIF file.

•

Compare data between a server and an LDIF file.

•

Generate an order file.

Importing Data from a File

In Novell iManager, click the

Roles and Tasks

button

Click

eDirectory Maintenance

Import Convert Export Wizard

Click

Import Data from File on Disk

, then click

Next

Select the type of file you want to import.

Specify the name of the file containing the data you want to import, specify the appropriate
options, then click

Next

The options on this page depend on the type of file you selected. Click

Help

for more

information on the available options.

Specify the LDAP server where the data will be imported.

Add the appropriate options, as described in the following table:
