Configuration example
This configuration example uses the commands listed in Table 9 on page 33 to
show all of the log messages generated by IP with severity levels of ERROR or
WARNING. The example also displays the log messages from the specified file
name,
/pcmcia/sample.txt .
show logging file name-of-file /pcmcia/sample.txt category IP
severity ERROR|WARNING cpu CPU3
[category < value >]
[severity < value >]
[CPU < value >]
Filters and lists the logs (individually or combined)
according to category, severity, and the CPU that
generated it. Valid categories, severities, and CPUs are
listed in
Table 2 on page 18 , Table 4 on page 19 , and
Table 3 on page 18 , respectively.
save-to-file < value >
Redirects the output to a file specified and removes all
encrypted information. The tail option is not supported
with the
save-to-file option. Replace <value> to
specify the destination file name, for example:
/pcmcia/newlog.txt .
