Configuring the remote host address and file name for
log transfer
To configure the remote host address and file name for log transfer, use the
following CLI command:
config log transferFile <
id
>

Specifies an ID for the remote TFTP/FTP host. The
range is from 1 to 10.
add-IP <
ipaddr
>
Adds the IP address of the host to which the log file
needs to be transferred. You can configure only a
reachable remote host.
filename <
filename
>
Replace <
filename
> with the file name of the file
stored in the remote host. If not configured, the current
log file name is the default.
If this option is set, the previously transferred log file is
overwritten on the remote server.
Note:
Nortel recommends that you not set this option.
info
Shows the configured IP address and the file name for
the remote host.
remove-IP
Removes the IP address configured by the user. It is
then set to the default (0.0.0.0).
Note:
When the PCMCIA is removed from the master CPU, a trap is
generated and system logging continues in DRAM only.
