Fluid Heating Reservoir Installation
1. Install the fluid-heating reservoir to the electrical enclosure. Use
Teflon paste on threads to prevent galling. Tighten securely.
2. Make sure the holes for the setscrews are aligned. Back the
fluid-heating reservoir out by no more than one turn to align holes.
Install the setscrews and tighten securely.
NOTE: The Reservoir Seal Kit contains replacement O-rings for the fluid
fittings. Refer to
Parts section for kit ordering information.
3. Install the O-ring on the fluid inlet and outlet fittings.
4. Install fluid outlet and inlet fittings into the fluid passage body. Use
Teflon tape or pipe dope if necessary. Tighten fittings to
1.66–2.08 kgm (12–15 ft-lb).
5. Install the heater cartridge. Refer to
Heater Cartridge Installation
procedures.
6. Install the heat limiter. Refer to
Heat Limiter Installation procedures.
7. Install the RTD into the fluid passage body.
NOTE: A disassembly tool kit, which facilitates removal of the fluid
passage body from the housing, can be ordered. Refer to
Parts for more
information.
WARNING: Remove power, relieve fluid and air pressure, and
allow the heater to cool down before performing any
maintenance. Failure to observe this warning may cause
serious injury to personnel and/or damage to equipment.
