Digital Temperature Controller
The Select Coat Workcell is equipped with a digital temperature
controller. The digital temperature controller monitors and controls heater
output. It is electrically connected to a RTD in the fluid passage body.
Refer to
Operation for a description of the various LEDs and keys on the
temperature controller.
Use the following information to install the SCH-1 heater.
WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks. Follow the safety instructions in this document
and all other related documentation.
Make sure the heater is securely mounted in an upright, vertical position
on the workcell.
WARNING: Prevent electrical shock during installation or
servicing by installing a power isolation device such as a
breaker or disconnect in the service line ahead of the heater.

Route the supply wiring into the electrical enclosure
and connect electrical wire leads L1 (Power) and L2 (Neutral) at the
terminal block. The terminal block is permanently marked with wire
designations.
2. Install a ground wire to the electrical enclosure internal ground stud.
3. Wire the temperature controller and thermocouple as shown in
Figure 4.
4. Install a ground cable to external ground stud and clamp to a true
earth ground.
