Note!
On the keypad all the keys with the exception of the power button are programmable,
including the properties they have. In a sense, the power button is also programmable if you write
your own shutdown utility. The result of a key press depends on the application, so the key can
produce the result differing from its default one explained here. In addition to being programmable,
the keys can be ‘customized’ meaning that a key can be mapped to another one by configuring the
keyboard driver in response to the keystroke of the key to send another key code than the key’s
default one to an application.

3.2.1 ’Activator’ Key
With the ‘activator’ key an operation is accepted or activated. In conventional sense it provides the
same functionality as an ‘ENTER’ key. For example, the key advances the cursor to the next line in
writing.
3.2.2 ‘Cancel/Esc’ Key
In general, the ‘Esc/Cancel’ key cancels the selection or the operation being under way just as an
‘Esc’ key on a conventional PC-keyboard.
