1. Introduction

1.1 Nordic ID Morphic

Nordic ID Morphic is a data collecting platform to develop a lightweight handheld linkage between
information encoded onto bar codes and the business applications running in the edge or data
center systems. For automatic identification needs it provides 1 dimension barcode reader;
802.11b/g wireless communication with strong encryption and authentication; and user interface
with alphanumeric keypad, touch screen, and 2.2”, 320-by-240-pixel resolution backlit color screen.
It supports wide range of technologies to build up client-server applications, and it provides a
device API of its own for different programming technologies like C/C++, JAVA, C#, and Visual
Basic.
