Self-Diagnostic Print
1) Confirmation by the self-diagnostic print function.

Function of control circuit.

Version of control Firmware.
・
Setting condition of DIP switch and Memory switch.
・
Movement of paper out sensor.
2) Start and End of a self-diagnostic print.
Turn power on with holding FEED switch, after movement of initialization of printer mechanism,
release hand from FEED switch, self-diagnostic print starts and ends after printing pre-set
print pattern. Printer is in offline condition during a self-diagnostic print.
[Note]
*Please make sure to have paper in printer. If above movement activated under head cover
open and no paper, printer enters into factory maintenance mode and does not activate
self-diagnostic print. Please turn power off at this time.
* Printing will not be on gap part. Please prepare thermal roll paper in case printing all
contents
4.1.4
Paper Detection
Paper sensor is mounted in paper path of printer mechanism body and detects a condition of
complete paper-out. Once detects paper out, paper end status is transmitted and stop
printing. Please do not use paper roll whose end is glued to core. It causes no detection.
Please change roll paper promptly once detecting out of paper.
