Label print
Operation and precaution for label printing are described as below.
Please refer to the command reference for the details of each command.
1) Basic setting
For label printing, label setting and level setting of gap detection are required in advance.
Proceeding is as below.
(1) Setting for label length, gap length, the amount of paper feed is conducted by command
[Label setting]<DC2 L n1 n2 n3 n4>.
(2) Setting for gap detection level is conducted by command [Detection level of gap
setting]<DC2 mrk>. The contents set by (1) and detection level will be saved
automatically after completion of setting.
2) Gap detection
As the methods for gap detection, there are two ways.
1. Detect forward direction along print feed direction by command[Gap detection] <DC2 I>.
2. Detect reverse direction against print direction by command [Gap redetection] <DC2 B>
Please select a method according to the next gap position of paper to transmission sensor.
Examples for detection are as below.
(1) Detection forward direction(In case the next gap sensor does not exceed sensor)
