automatic control

Automatic System Activation

The Amplifier Module automatically powers on when an audio signal is present at the Optical, HDMI, Line
or Aux inputs. The Amplifier Module subsequently powers off in the absence of an audio signal at all inputs
after 3 minutes.

Automatic System Input Selection

The Amplifier Module automatically selects a source when an audio signal becomes present at the
input connections. In the event audio is present at both the Video (Optical, HDMI, or Line) and Aux Inputs
simultaneously, automatic priority input selection is given to the Video Input.

NOTE:

When a source is connected to the line or aux input, the muting of that source may result in the automatic system input

selection feature searching for the next active input before sound is restored.

Automatic Sound Mode Selection

The Amplifier Module automatically selects the appropriate surround sound mode for the currently selected
input as shown in

Figure 22

 below.

and off.

NOTE: The Amplifier Module will also always turn on when
an active input signal is detected.

The Source Button provides sequential selection of
the Video Input (Optical/HDMI/Line) or the Aux Input.
Manual selection of input using the Source Buttons
overrides the Amplifier Module’s automatic input
selection.

Volume up/Down Buttons

The Volume Up/Down Buttons control the Main
Volume Up and Down.

Mute Button

The Mute Button mutes or unmutes the Main
Volume.

Left/center/Right Level Buttons

The Left/Center/Right Level Buttons balance
the individual level of each speaker module to
compensate for asymmetrical speaker placement in
the In-Wall Mounting System.
