To setup your live stream, start by opening the Configure Stream Connection panel.
IMPORTANT: You can set up a free account with Ustream if you’d like to follow along here (remember, this is just
for practice). You can also choose a different provider or create your own connection using another URL by
clicking on the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the Configure Stream Connection panel.

Mouse over the Stream button
in
the top-right corner of the screen to
reveal the gear icon on the right edge

Click the gear icon
to open the
Configure Stream Connection panel

Connect to your streaming
provider and account
using the built-in
Web browser—the default provider is
Ustream (you will see the Ustream
homepage in the Web browser)

If you have set up a
Ustream account,
click on the Configure
Plugin button in the top-left
corner of the panel

Enter your Ustream name
and password
when
prompted, then click Login

In the following dialog,
choose the appropriate
settings
for your test stream
including channel you wish
to stream to, the resolution
and the bandwidth
