IMPORTANT

Changing these control settings to improper values
can adversely affect the operation of the control
system and may cause damage to the coach.

MAX CHARGE RATE

This is the current charge rate of the Inverter. It is set from the factory to 70 percent. It will ramp up or drop down the

charge rate depending on the power available. This sets the percentage of the maximum DC output current that is

available to the charger. The maximum DC output current for the Freedom SW 3012 is 150 amps at 100 percent.

DESIRED MODE

This is the current mode of the inverter at any given time (off, operating, or standby).

ADVANCED SCREEN

This screen is password protected to allow Qualified

Service Technicians access to make changes to the control

settings.

EQUALIZE BUTTON

This button will take you to a screen to equalize your

batteries. AGM batteries are standard in 2019 New Aire,

Essex, and King Aire coaches and in all-electric London

Aire and Mountain Aire coaches.

YES, I MEANT IT.

Pressing this button will activate the equalize charging

process.

OOPS! GO BACK.

Pressing this button will allow you to return to the

Inverter

screens.

WARNING

Newmar recommends that the Equalize function be performed at a Newmar Certified Service Center on liquid
lead acid batteries only! You should never equalize AGM batteries, as damage to AGM batteries may occur.
