Configuring the Router Using FirstGear

ISP Test

You can test your ISP settings by clicking on the ISP Test button within the ISP Test window
(

Configuration Wizard ISP Test Window

During the ISP Test, the router places a call to the ISP. The B1 LED on the front panel should light.
When the connection is made, the router attempts to log in. After the test, FirstGear disconnects
the call and the B1 LED is no longer lit.

If the ISP Test is successful, the Configuration Wizard Complete window opens.

If the ISP Test fails, FirstGear will display the test progress and error messages from the router.
