Congratulations on your purchase of the NETGEAR

Model RH340 Internet Access ISDN
Router.
The Model RH340 router provides connection for one or more PCs to the Internet over Integrated
Services Digital Network (ISDN) lines at a speed of 64 or 128 kilobits per second (Kbps). At these
speeds, you can download video clips, music, or high-resolution color graphics from the World
Wide Web or other online services much faster than you can with an analog modem. The router
supports concurrent data and voice communications, reducing the need for multiple phone lines.
Purpose
This guide describes the features of the Model RH340 router and provides installation and
configuration instructions.
Audience
To configure and install the Model RH340 router, you should have the following background and
experience:
• Working knowledge of the Windows environment

Routing Information ,” to become more familiar with the terms and procedures used in
