NPB-40 Operation

NPB-40

2. Press the

Up Arrow

button or the

Down Arrow

button until the desired tone level is heard.

3. Press the

button three times to set the tone

volume and return to normal operation.

Adjust Alarm Volume

Discussion

When the Alarm Volume display is shown, the user is
able to adjust the volume of alarm tones. Each activation
of an

Up Arrow

Down Arrow

button increases or

decreases the alarm volume and increments or
decrements by one the number of segments shown on the

Pulse Amplitude

(blip) bar as a relative indicator of the

current volume. The minimum alarm volume is one
(one blip bar segment); the maximum is ten
(ten segments). Attempted adjustments outside the range
generate an invalid key tone.

The default alarm volume is at least 52 dB(A) shown by
10 blip bar segments.

Note

: When the NPB-40 times-out (30 seconds) the

currently shown parameter is set and the NPB-40
display returns to the normal mode.
