16.6.1   Flash memory control

The following shows the procedure for manipulating the flash memory.

Supplies RESET pulse

Switches to flash memory programming mode

Selects communication system

Manipulates flash memory

When rewriting the contents of a flash memory using the dedicated flash writer, set the V850/SA1 in the flash

memory programming mode.  When switching to modes, set V

PP

 pin before releasing reset.

When performing on-board writing, change modes using a jumper, etc.
