GBA Adapters

- P/N

The GBA Adapter provides an IP-CTS or IP Enhanced terminal with a gigabit ethernet connection. The adapter
provides a 10/100Mbps connection to the IP terminal and a gigbit connection to a PC. The adapter requires
local power from an AC-L power adapter or PoE (subject to the terminal’s power requirements).

When installing or removing the adapters,

the keyset should first be unplugged from the system

. Terminals

with an adapter installed can be wall-mounted, however, a separate wall-mount bracket must be used (P/N
680610).

4.14.7.1 LED Indications

PC Port VLAN

Though the PC port of the IP terminal supports
VLAN, the Gigabit Ethernet adapter does not.
This means that VLAN tag add/remove and
filtering by VLAN ID are not supported.

PC Port Shutdown

There is no ability to reject improper access to the
PC port.
It is recommended that if the PC port is not used
that the IP terminal not use the GBA adapter, but
should be connected directly to the LAN switch.

Tag VLAN for

Tagged VLAN for the IP terminal is supported as
the tagged packets will be forwarded correctly.
