21.3 Programming Environment
The environment required for writing a program to the flash memory of the 78K0/KB1+ is illustrated below.

A host machine that controls the dedicated flash programmer is necessary.
To interface between the dedicated flash programmer and the 78K0/KB1+, CSI10 or UART6 is used for
manipulation such as writing and erasing. To write the flash memory off-board, a dedicated program adapter (FA
series) is necessary.
21.4 Communication Mode
Communication between the dedicated flash programmer and the 78K0/KB1+ is established by serial
communication via CSI10 or UART6 of the 78K0/KB1+.

Transfer rate: 200 kHz to 2 MHz
