6.2 Printer Sharing
6.2.1 Sharing Your Printer
You can use the Resource sharing utility on the CableFREE toolbar to share the
printer. To control sharing access to the shared printer, you need to uncheck the
shared printer in the CableFREE utility. Then use the following method to set
sharing control:
step1. Click Start/Settings/Printers, to open the Printers folder
step2. Select the icon for the printer you want to share with other computers
on your network. This printer must be connected to your computer
step3.
On the File menu, click Properties. A Properties dialog box will open

Click on the Sharing tab, and click Shared As. Choose a share name
for the printer, for example, EPSON. If you want everyone to have
access to the printer, you don’t need to set a password. If you want to
restrict access, assign a password. Click OK
6.2.2 Accessing A Printer on Your Network
You can access printers on your network if the printers are set to be shared.
step1.
Double-click My Computer, and then double-click Printers
step2.
Double-click Add Printer. The Add Printer Wizard will open
