Chapter 5: Network Hopper:
Switching Network Environments

CableFREE helps users to manage multiple network connections on their Windows
95, 98, and NT systems. Use Network Profiles to create multiple network
connection settings. Then access Network Hopper from the CableFREE taskbar
icon to switch to different network environments quickly. Click Network Profiles
on the CableFREE toolbar utility to open the “Network Profiles” screen and then
click Show Me Details.

Note: Network Hopper is currently not supported in Windows 2000 as Windows

2000 has not been released at time of printing. Check the
www.sohoware.com site for a Network Hopper for a Windows 2000 release.

Click the Save button to take a snapshot of this setup for later retrieval. Click the
Load button to restore a previously saved setup. The Apply button will apply the
visible setup values to the system. Some setup changes require a computer restart
to take effect. Network Hopper

will prompt for a restart ONLY if it is necessary.
