Chapter 5 Installation

Step 3

• Using the hexagon socket

head cap screw, fix the
motor to the motor flange.

• Confirm that the centering

part of the motor flange and
that of the motor are
correctly fitted.

• Check that there is no

foreign matter adhering to
the mounting surface.



If there is foreign matter adhering to the mounting surface, appropriate installation accuracy cannot
be obtained. It could cause deterioration of performance, such as abnormal noise and vibration, and
also lead to damage of the motor.



Tighten the motor mounting bolt using the tightening torque specified by the motor manufacturer.
