Vacuum menu

Notes

It could happen that digital transfer media starts to cockle when the ink comes into contact with the
media. To minimize the cockling, please use this mode to suck the media onto the print platform.

The default setting for this unit is set to HIGH.

Notes

We recommend you to select HIGH in the vacuum menu. Only use Low or Medium when using

sheet media.

Setup items

The suction of the media to the print platform is low.

Medium

The suction of the media to the print platform is medium.

High

The suction of the media to the print platform is high. Use
this setting when media is cockling.

After setting, shift to the previous hierarchy menu.

Operate the following keys to change media
thickness.

[F2] key: to increase the setup value.
[F4] key: to decrease the setup value.
[ENTER] key: to confirm the setup value and to shift

to the previous hierarchy menu.

[CANCEL] key: to cancel the setup value and to

shift to the previous hierarchy menu.

Refer to User media menu

Notes

It is very important to set the correct media thickness to obtain good printing quality.
