Your appliance is equipped with electronic motor

protection as standard to ensure its longevity. This

electronic safety feature guarantees you against any

abnormal use; your motor is therefore fully protected.

In certain very extreme

conditions of use, or when

using personal recipes

(from the Internet, etc.),

when not respecting the

recommendations of the

leaflet (See paragraph on

"INITIAL USE": quantities that may be too large and/

or abnormally long periods of use and/or a sequence

of recipes prepared too close together), the electronic

protection is triggered to preserve the motor. In this case,

the appliance stops and the "E4" is displayed on the LCD

screen of the control panel to indicate that the appliance

is momentarily not operational.

If "E4" is displayed on your control panel and your

appliance stops operating, proceed as follows:

Leave your appliance connected and the 0/1 switch

(C15) on position 1, "ON".

Refer to the recommendations of the leaflet to adapt

your preparation (see the paragraph on "INITIAL USE":

quantities of ingredients / recipe time / temperature /

accessories type).

Wait half an hour for the motor to cool down.

Set the start switch to the OFF position and then switch

it ON again to use your appliance.

Your appliance is once again completely ready for use.
The customer service is at your disposal for any question

(see contact details in the guarantee booklet).

IMPORTANT: MAKING YOUR APPLIANCE SAFE ( E4)

Select the “ Weight ” programme

(C9)

 to start up

the scales function. This is displayed instead of the

temperature.

The weight is measured automatically: The display then

shows 0000 g when the weight has been measured.

Place the appliance bowl or another container on the

scales.

To reset the scales to zero, press the weight programme

briefly and the 0000 g will be displayed again.

Add the desired amount of ingredients.

To exit the weighing scales mode, long-press on the

weight programme.

These scales allow you to measure your ingredients

to the nearest gram up to 5kg. For liquids use the

measuring glass.

You can use the scales while your appliance is running,

or you can also use the scales as a simple accessory

even when you are not cooking with your appliance.

Caution

If there is too much weight on the scales: the screen

displays “stop”

If the quantity becomes negative: the display displays

« ---- »

INTEGRATED KITCHEN SCALES.

CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE

The appliance must not be immersed in water. Do not

place the motor block

()

under running water.

Once usage is complete, disconnect the appliance.

Immediately clean your bowl after use.

Remove the bowl from its base by taking the handle with

one hand and pressing the bowl unlocking button

(B3)

Place the bowl on a flat surface.

Unlock the lid by turning it to the right.  Remove the

lid with care.

The elements of the lid (seal, sub-lid and lid) are

removable. Once the parts have cooled down, unclip

the sub-lid of the lid by pressing the two tabs of the lid

while pulling the sub-lid (see fig. 14)

Take precautions when handling the chopper knife.

It has extremely sharp blades.

Once the parts have cooled down:

 – Disassemble the knife by unscrewing the ring below

the bowl, being careful not to cut yourself.

 – clean the bowl, the knife, the accessories, the

internal steamer basket and the external* steamer

basket, using a sponge and hot soapy water.

Rinse these different elements under running water.

In the case of limescale on the bowl or stains you can

use the abrasive side of a sponge dampened with white

vinegar, if necessary, or with maintenance products

adapted for stainless steel.

In the case of severe clogging, allow to soak for several

hours with water and some washing-up liquid, and

if needed, scrape with the spatula

(D4)

 or with the

abrasive side of a sponge.

To clean the motor block

(C1)

, use a damp cloth. Dry

it carefully.

To make cleaning easier, the lid assembly and

accessories are dishwasher safe except for the bowl

and knife.

The accessories, the removable knife and the parts of the

lid, can be stained slightly with certain ingredients such

as curry, carrot juice, etc.; this does not present a danger

to your health, nor for the operation of your appliance.

To avoid this, clean the items quickly after use.

Before reusing your bowl assembly

(B)

, make sure that

the electrical contacts under the bowl are always clean

and dry.

So as not to alter to materials of the knife

(B1)

, do not

let it soak in the water for too long.

APPLIANCE STORAGE

To facilitate the storage of your appliance, place the internal

steam basket in the bowl and the two mixer accessories and

beater in the steam basket and close the lid.
