the sub-lid is not assembled in the lid.
The appliance must be operated with
the measuring cap positioned in the
hole of the lid (unless there is specific
recipe information to the contrary).
•
After each time you use the appliance
in cooking mode, remove the
measuring cap to let the steam out,
and wait for it to disappear before
opening the lid.
WARNING! Beware the risk of injury if
the appliance is used incorrectly.
Take precautions with the knife
blades (B1) when you are cleaning
them and when you empty the bowl.
They are extremely sharp.
Be careful if hot liquid is poured into
the bowl in such a way that it can be
splattered from the appliance upon
sudden boiling.
WARNING! Be careful when handling
your appliance (cleaning, filling
and pouring): avoid any overflow of
liquid on the connectors.
WARNING! The surface of the heating
element emits residual heat after use.
Take care to touch only the bowl
handle and the measuring cap
during heating and until the
appliance is completely cool.
Refer to the instructions to adjust the
speed and the operating time of each
accessory and each programme.
Refer to the instructions to assemble and
attach accessories to the appliance.
Refer to the instructions to clean and
maintain your appliance.
Always follow the cleaning instructions
when cleaning your appliance:

Unplug the appliance.
•
Do not clean the appliance when it is hot.
•
Clean with a damp sponge or cloth.
•
Never place the appliance in water or
under running water
Regarding the electrical connection
•
The appliance must be connected to an
earthed electrical socket.
•
The appliance is designed to operate
only in alternating current. Check that
the voltage indicated on the appliance
rating plate corresponds to that of your
mains electricity.
•
Any connection error invalidates the
guarantee.
•
Do not pull on the power cable to
unplug the appliance.
•
Do not put the appliance or the power
cable near to or in contact with the
hot parts of the appliance, near a heat
source or by a sharp corner.
•
Always disconnect the appliance
from the mains supply if leaving it
unattended and before assembling,
disassembling and cleaning.
•
Keep the power cable out of the reach
of children and do not leave it near
or in contact with the hot parts of the
appliance, near a heat source or at a
sharp angle.
•
Never submerge the appliance, power
cable or plug in liquid.
Regarding improper use
•
Do not use your appliance if it does
not operate correctly, if it is damaged.
Have it repaired in an approved
service centre (refer to the list in the
service booklet).
•
Do not touch the lid before the
complete shut-down of the appliance
(stop button); wait until the mixed
food is no longer turning before
removing the bowl from its base.
•
When in heating mode, never use the
blender bowl without ingredients or
with only dry products.
•
Always add solid ingredients first to the
bowl before adding liquid ingredients
(see Fig. 7)
, without exceeding the MAX
mark engraved on the inside of the Bowl
(see Fig. 7)
. If the bowl has been over-
filled, boiling water may be ejected.
•
When using the steam cooking
programme, take care to observe the level
of 0.7 litres of water
(see Fig. 5.1-5.2)
.
•
Never put your fingers or any other
object in the bowl while the appliance is
in operation.
•
Do not use the bowl as a container
(conservation, freezing, sterilisation).
•
Place the appliance on a stable, heat-
resistant, clean and dry work surface.
•
Do not place the appliance near a wall
or a cupboard; the steam produced can
damage things.
•
Do not place your appliance near an
active heat-source (hob, domestic
appliance, etc.).
•
Do not cover your lid with a cloth or
other article, do not attempt to plug the
hole in the lid, use the measuring cup.
•
Do not let your hair, a scarf, a tie, etc.
hang over the bowl while the appliance
is operating.
•
Never use the accessories in a
microwave oven.
•
Do not use the appliance outside.
•
Never exceed the maximum quantity
specified in the leaflet.
•
Wait for the appliance to cool before you
store it away.
•
Never place your bowl in the freezer to
cool it down; use the refrigerator.
